I'm six months old!

Ho, Ho, Ho!

We celebrated my six month birthday today with early Christmas! As you can see, I was decked out for the occasion. Aren't I beautiful!!! Nannie, Sissy, Uncle Mike and Aunt Rachel drove through a blizzard to come see me. They brought my good friend CJ back home for the weekend, too!

Then we got to open presents! I got a baby doll, some pretty clothes, some winter boots and a movie about the muppets! I had so much fun trying to eat the wrapping paper. It was a fun day. Mommy kept saying she couldn't believe I was already six months old! Well, I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. We will be going to Tennessee in January for late-Christmas. We'll be sure to post some pics between now and then.

Gobble-Gobble! Happy Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

Well, we definitely have so much to be thankful for! What a difference a year makes. Last Thanksgiving, Chris and I announced we were expecting a little baby. We had no idea how much better our lives would become after having such a beautiful baby girl. Kate graced our Thanksgiving table this year and even had her own Thanksgiving dinner! Here are some pics of our family and friends celebrating with good food and fellowship.

Hello Strangers!
It's been quite a while since we last updated everyone. We've had a very busy month! I'm now 5 months old and I've been changing so much. We went to San Antonio earlier this month for Mommy's race. She and Aunt Emily ran for just over two hours and successfully completed the half marathon. I got to hang out with Mimi and Poppa. It was great!

After coming back from San Antonio, Mommy and Daddy decided it was time for me to try cereal. That stuff is delicious! I just wish I could eat it faster. I just want more and more. Here is a few pictures of my first real meal...mmm...it's so good!

Give me more Daddy!!

It was a very SCARY night in Rochester!! Kate was so excited for her first Halloween. We had fighters...

And a piano-playing curious George.

And last but not least....A baby giraffe!

With much better weather this year, we had lots and lots of trick-or-treaters and actually got rid of some of the candy! Our friends Mer, Corryn, Bonnie, Pete, Noah, Evelyn, Sadaf, Uns, Umn, Amy, Ty and Ellie all came over for treats and we had such a good time! Kate can't wait for next year. Get ready for her Chicken costume...only 364 days away!

Time flies...

Can you believe I'm already four months old!?!? I'm learning to roll over, talking constantly and I've grown into my umbrella stroller. I had a nice walk with Mommy this weekend. Of course, I fell asleep!

As you can see, there's plenty of room for my legs to grow! Well, we can't wait for next week to be over. Mommy has to take her Pediatric Board exam in Chicago next Monday. After it's over, we can hang out a lot more! We also can't wait for Halloween. Y'all are going to love my giraffe costume! Have a good week.

Rolling over!

Hello! Well, we made the long haul to Kansas City last weekend for Kate's "Sip and See." Her Nannie and Pappy invited a bunch of their friends over to meet Kate. She was the life of the party. Here she is meeting her Grand-Pop!

She also go to meet her crazy Uncle Jim and Aunt Emily. She thinks they're great!

We also had Kate's three month pictures made last week. Here she was after her photo shoot. As you can tell, she likes being a model!

But the biggest news is that Kate learned how to roll over from front to back. She isn't quite sure about it, but thinks it is so funny when Mommy and Daddy clap afterwards.

Rolling over is fun!!!

Here's Kate in her Halloween outfit from Aunt Sarah. It says "So cute it's scary!" You be the judge!!
Well, we will send some more pictures soon. Have a great day!

I'm a big girl!

Hello friends! It's been a while since updating our blog. As busy as it has been, there's not a lot of updating to do! Mom went back to work two weeks ago and has been busy studying for boards. Kate has been doing well at daycare. She loves her teachers and likes to watch all of her classmates play around her. She is getting so big and developing such a personality. She is now laughing at us! We've been coaching her up to get her to roll over but haven't had any luck yet! We'll keep you posted on her progress.

Tummy time. Look how good I am at this!

Cuddle time with Daddy...we both fell asleep!

A visit with Torrey from Atlanta!

Flying through the air with Daddy! Whew this is soooo fun!

Enjoy the week. I'll talk to you soon!

Getting dunked!

HELLO!!

We've had a busy weekend here in Rochester. Allison's fundraiser for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation was this weekend. It was called Dunk-A-Doc. A lot of us got wet and raised a good bit of money for the foundation. Kate was there all day with Momma because Daddy was on call and got stuck at work. She was such a trooper! Thanks to the Higuchi's for helping watch her for me! Ellie is her favorite babysitter!

Ellie, Amy and Baby Kate

Well, I got some fun pics today while the two of us were hanging out. It was my last day of maternity leave. I go back to work for good tomorrow. I'm a little sad, but more worried about getting everywhere on time. It will be a whole different ball game from last month when the grandma's where here and I only had three and a half blocks to go! I'm sure it will be fine and I know she will have a great day. She's such a people watcher that she LOVES daycare! We'll let you know how things are going. Have a good week.
